Many Christians believe that because salvation is a free gift, freedom from spiritual oppression should also be automatic. But Scripture tells a more nuanced—and often surprising—story.

While salvation cannot be earned, deliverance frequently requires intentional repentance. In this episode, I explore why certain agreements, covenants, and spiritual contracts must be renounced before lasting freedom can take place. God has given humanity genuine free will—and He does not override it, even when we ask Him to set us free.

“For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.” (Romans 11:29)

That means God will not revoke authority we have willingly surrendered unless we choose to repent and realign ourselves with His truth. I unpack the biblical foundation for repentance as a requirement for deliverance, address common objections, and explain why grace does not eliminate responsibility.

If you’ve prayed for freedom but remain stuck, this episode may reveal what’s been missing—and how real deliverance actually begins.
