The book of James says, "Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded." (James 4:8) Reformed theology has taught us that we cannot purify our hearts; only Christ can do that. So, who is right? James or the Reformers? Who purifies your heart? What difference does it make?
