Upon reaching the town of Lahest, the Stonefellow brothers stay at the Glory's Fog Inn and stable their new horse at the Two Bit Bridle. Volunteers from the town of Gold Hills have joined the militia and with them, potential friends. Toryn plays some music, Toman goes shopping, and Ushik and Ulric buy an odd potion. The entire company marches northward yet again and reaches The Blow where a hermit resides.
