Description

In this episode of Me Again, God, I open up about a health scare that reminded me of a hard truth: our bodies are not our own—they are the temple of God. Scripture tells us in 1 Corinthians 6:19–20 that we are called to honor Him with our bodies, yet so many of us neglect the very gift we’ve been given.I share my personal struggle with type 2 diabetes and how letting my health maintenance slide has impacted me physically and spiritually. But this isn’t just about me—it’s about all of us. Whether your challenge is weight, a sedentary lifestyle, substance use, or ignoring medical wisdom, it’s time to take responsibility for the knowledge God has already placed in our hands. We’ll also talk about why none of us can do this alone. James 5:16 and Matthew 18:20 remind us of the power of prayer in community. God calls us to support one another, pray for one another, and carry each other when the burden feels heavy. This episode is a call to start small, take action, lean on each other, and treat your health as an act of worship. Because when we honor God with our bodies, we position ourselves to live strong and fulfill His calling.
