Description

The Incarnation is far more than a quaint image of the babe in the manger.  If that babe in the manger is God Incarnate, as we believe He is, then it is the most scandalous events in history.  It is scandalous in that what follows from it literally change the world.  Jesus is not just one teacher or prophet among many, he is utterly unique.  His words and His deeds are therefore the words and deeds of God himself.  Yet, the scandal gives way to solace.  Since He is God incarnate, then we no longer have to wonder if God sees or cares about us.  He has broken into history in demonstration of His love for us and his ongoing invitation for all to draw near to him by faith.
