A person is convinced he has had a supernatural experience, then begins teaching lies in the church. (eg, Mormonism) He did have a supernatural experience, but it was not God. There are many spirits out there. But, says Edwards, don't write off all God events in individual lives. Why can't God show Himself powerful to someone?
