Incredibly-well timed. This last chapter of volume 1 tells of the cholera outbreak in London, 1854, during Spurgeon's first year in that city. See him going door to door visiting the sick and dying, urging them to follow Christ. A short chapter, to which I have added a later sermon of Spurgeon entitled "The Time is Short." Indeed it is, for many. From cholera to corona, nothing robs the true follower of Jesus of his joy and purpose.
