I don’t want to work this hard forever… and that’s exactly why I’m willing to put the work hard in now.
In this solo episode of Beyond the Tweezers, I’m talking about something I think we sometimes need reminding of.. if you want a different life, you have to be willing to do the work to create it.

We hear so much about slowing down, protecting our energy and creating more freedom - and I completely agree, I am one of them people. Looking after yourself matters. Rest matters. Having a life outside of your business matters.
But there are also seasons where you have to graft.
There have been so many times when I’ve been tired, when I could have sat watching Netflix for another two hours, or when I simply couldn’t be bothered. But I know the life and career I want in the future, and nobody else is going to build that for me.
I don’t want to still be working on the tools at 50 because I HAVE to. I want choices. I want freedom. And I know that what I do now is helping me create that later.
You can work hard now and make things easier for your future self, or you can choose easy now and potentially make things harder later.
This episode is your reminder that no one is coming to save you. Your goals are yours - and sometimes, you have to be willing to get up and go after them even when you don’t feel like it.
Because the life you keep imagining? You have to be the one to build it.
