Description

Rejection had taught me how to protect my heart. What it hadn’t taught me was how to open it again.

For years, I had convinced myself that I was perfectly fine on my own. I had built a life I loved, found independence I never thought possible, and created a career that gave my life purpose. But after experiencing heartbreak and rejection, allowing myself to believe in love again was another story.

In this episode of Resilience with Tasha Schuh, I’m sharing a chapter of my journey filled with heartbreak, healing, some pretty hilarious dating moments, and the unexpected way love eventually found me.

In this episode, I share:

This part of my journey reminds me that resilience doesn’t always mean pushing harder or having everything figured out. Sometimes it means being willing to try again after you’ve been hurt and refusing to let fear make your decisions for you.

If you’d like to go deeper into this part of my story, I share even more of these experiences in my book My Next Move Forward, available on Amazon or at TashaSchuh.com.

Coming Next: Episode 17 — From True Love to I Do

I’ll pick up right where this story leaves off and share what came next as we prepared for marriage—including the wedding planning, our wedding day, our honeymoon, and some unforgettable moments along the way.
