🌟 Our heroes kneel before Zod with Superman II: The Richard Donner Cut, the alternate version of the 1980 sequel that restores Richard Donner’s original vision 💫🦸♂️
⚔️ Andrew hails this cut as a triumph of cinematic history, while Greg stands firm in defense of Richard Lester’s theatrical release, taking issue with Donner daring to touch his beloved original ⚔️🎬
💔 Together, our heroes spotlight the emotional power of Marlon Brando’s Jor-El being restored to the story, while also exploring the film’s romance, its controversial ending, and one of Greg’s favorite jokes that didn’t survive the cut 💔✨
🔦 So grab your crystals, dodge the Phantom Zone, and get ready to light up the dark… one alternate timeline at a time 🎬✨🪩🔦
