Today we are studying John Chapter 12. In this chapter, we see Mary anoint Jesus with costly perfume, a powerful act of worship and surrender. We also see Jesus enter Jerusalem as King, while the crowds praise Him. Yet even in celebration, Jesus speaks about His coming death and the cost of following Him. He teaches that a seed must die to produce life, and calls His followers to deny themselves and follow Him fully. This chapter reminds us that true worship involves surrender, and following Christ requires giving Him everything.
