Today we are studying John Chapter 6. In this chapter, Jesus feeds the five thousand with five loaves and two fish, walks on water, and then reveals a deeper spiritual truth about who He is. The crowds follow Him because of the miracle, but Jesus challenges them to look beyond temporary provision to eternal life. He declares in John 6:35, “I am the bread of life. No one who comes to Me will ever be hungry, and no one who believes in Me will ever be thirsty again.” This chapter reveals that Jesus is not just a provider of physical needs—He is the true source of spiritual life and satisfaction. It also shows that following Him requires faith, trust, and commitment, even when His words are difficult to understand.
