Today we are studying Luke Chapter 14. In this chapter, Jesus teaches powerful lessons about humility, compassion, and the true cost of following Him. We see Him heal on the Sabbath, challenging rigid religious thinking and showing that compassion matters more than rules. He then teaches about humility, encouraging people not to seek places of honor but to take the lower place. Jesus also speaks about inviting those who cannot repay us, revealing the heart of true generosity. Finally, He gives a strong call to discipleship, reminding us that following Him requires complete commitment. This chapter challenges us to examine our motives, live with humility, love others selflessly, and count the cost of truly following Christ.
