My goodness there was a lot of content in that interview! Haili is an absolute dynamo of action and cuts to the chase in the ideological argy bargy. Middle ground. Both and. Knowledge and use as parts of the same puzzle.
I appreciated Haili’s thoughts about why guests experiences might suggest an inconsistency in effective responses to neurodivergency, disabilities and difficulties. The north star here, “hanging on to ambitious learning while making the route to that learning accessible” Print that one and put it near the coffee machine!
And my personal favourite quote of the interview "The best we can hope for is best bets, really, and that does need that adaptation and contextualization, but adaptation that still means that we have fidelity to the active ingredients and the mechanisms of the research".
