In this episode, Charity and Stacey talk about how EMDR is a little bit witchy and a lot magical. They explain what EMDR is and the science behind it. They also explore that even though memory reconsolidation is scientific, it can feel pretty magical to the people who experience it. Special consideration is given to the topics of neurodivergence with EMDR, using EMDR for single incident trauma versus CPTSD, and working without memories or body sensations or on pre-verbal trauma.
