I will often ask my kids "which one of us is the parent?" when they are trying to act like they have authority over each other or even over me and my wife. It is a not-so-subtle reminder that God didn't put them in charge. We need this reminder in our relationship with Jesus as well. In this sermon, titled "By What Authority?", we look at Matthew 21:23 - 22:14 where the religious leaders ask where Jesus' authority comes from. Jesus' answer tells us a lot about his authority being from God and the importance of us living in submission to that authority.
