So far in our "The Cross Changes Everything" sermon series we have looked at the importance of the cross and how it changes us as people and as a church. This sermon is called "Cross Shaped Mission" and we see that the cross gives us a new mission in this world. God has a plan to use people saved by the cross, who are also changed by the cross, to carry the message of the cross into this world. As we do this, we must not forget that it is the cross that shapes us and our message because the greatest need of our family, friends, neighbors, and even those on the other side of the world, is the cross of Jesus Christ.
