In today’s world, there is much said about faith. We have saving faith and blind faith, we walk by faith, and we have faith healers on TV. We are even asked, “What faith are you?”. All of these phrases each contained the same word, “faith”. Words can mean many things. The same word can mean different things, for example: a rock could be a stone, or something you do in a certain chair, or even a type of music. My back is sore because the back of the chair at the back of the hall was broken so now I will have to go back to the doctor. Alternatively, different words can have the same meaning. The Englishman says that he wants to play football this afternoon and the American says no, he wants to play soccer, and all they end up doing that afternoon is argue. In this sermon we continue on into part 2 of Faith Alone in our Re-Claim series, as we search Scripture to see what true living faith is.
