Christians are called "people of faith". We tell each other we just have to "have faith" or "keep the faith." In this sermon, called "Faith Alone: The Foundation of the Reformation" we look at the 3rd of the Solas or "alones" from the Protestant Reformation. Everything changed for Martin Luther when he understood from Scripture what is stated in Romans 1:17, "The righteous will live by faith." What had once caused him agony and slavery as he tried to live a faithful life so that he could earn righteousness became a glorious gift when he realized the righteousness of Christ was simply accepted through faith.
