Scripture doesn't tell us to suspend all reason in order to have faith. In fact it is just the opposite. Throughout the book of Hebrews the author has given a reasonable explanation of why Christ is the only way of salvation. Chapter 11 of Hebrews is the great "Hall of Faith" chapter where we see example after example of people who lived trusting God. Faith is looking beyond what we see and trusting that God has a plan and a purpose which he has been carrying out through history.
