Have you ever watched an infomercial? The spokesperson makes bold, amazing claims about the product and demonstrates the amazing things the product can do. Yet many of these products utterly fail in real life away from the hype and controlled environment of the infomercial. It gets to the point where the greater the claim, the more skeptical we should be. But what about the greatness of God? Is it just hype and false claims that don't hold up in real life? This Sunday we will look at Isaiah chapter 40 in a sermon called "God's Great Wisdom." God is not a winking salesperson saying "trust me." He has proved the greatness of his wisdom over and over.
