"They will call him Immanuel (which means 'God with us')." These words written about Jesus in Matthew 1:23 (which are a quote from Isaiah 7:14) are such an important part of Christmas. This is one of those concepts I believe we could explore for years and years and never quite reach the depths of the meaning of this important idea. The baby Jesus, born on Christmas morning, is God with us. We will look at this incredible idea that Jesus is Immanuel, God with us. We see how this ties the birth of Jesus into all of Scripture and into God's eternal plan.
