Often the call to purity in the Christian life becomes a sort of guilt driven, oppressive legalism. People are understandably sensitive to this. We want to love people, not beat them up! Yet there is still a clear call in Scripture that if we are saved then we must life like it. This text looks at a very sensitive subject of someone in the church in Corinth who was persisting in blatant and unrepentant sin. Paul reminds the Christians of who they are in Christ and tells them to take loving but firm action. Not only is this passage challenging to us as a church, but to us as individual Christians as well. Do we treat sin in our own lives with seriousness?

Listening to sermons online can be a great way to keep up with a sermon series if you are unable to attend church but should never be a substitute for regular attendance of a gospel-centered and bible teaching church.
