Imagine giving your whole life for something and then wondering if it was all for nothing. I think we all have expectations in our life that have been disappointing. In Matthew 11, we see John the Baptist, who has given his life to prepare the way for Jesus and is now in jail because of this, send messengers to Jesus with a difficult question. John's question to Jesus is basically, "Was it all for nothing?" This sermon, which looks at Matthew 11:1-30, is called "Great Expectations" and we see that we must accept how Jesus shapes our expectations rather than allow our expectations to shape our acceptance of Jesus.

Listening to sermons online can be a great way to keep up with a sermon series if you are unable to attend church but should never be a substitute for regular attendance of a gospel-centered and bible teaching church.
