As we look the trial of Jesus, leading up to the crucifixion, it is amazing to think that Jesus, the Son of God, the king and judge of all creation, allows sinful people to make false charges against him in a trial that mocks justice. Yet he did this because his mission was to save us from our sins and he knew this meant going to the cross. In a sermon called "Jesus on Trial" we will look at Matthew 26:31 - 27:26.
