Minor cuts and scrapes, bruises, or sore muscles don't warrant a trip to the hospital. But what if we are having chest pains and heart trouble? Anyone with any sense would tell us to get to the doctor right away because we could have something wrong with our heart! I think we often get this backwards in our relationship with Christ. We look at outward things and treat them as most important but allow sinful attitudes and thoughts to consume us. In part 11 of our sermon series on Matthew called "The King Has Come" we are looking at Matthew 5:21-48 in a sermon called "Kingdom Living Part 4: Heart Conditions." Here we see Jesus saying we must take seriously what consumes our innermost thoughts. We see that true gospel change affects more than just our actions so that even our attitudes and motivations are transformed.

Listening to sermons online can be a great way to keep up with a sermon series if you are unable to attend church but should never be a substitute for regular attendance of a gospel-centered and bible teaching church.
