Where do we look when we get into trouble? Do we look at ourselves to fix things? Do we look around us for something we can grab onto? Or do we lift our eyes up and look to the One who created us, sustains us, and saves us? This sermon is part four of our series "A Long Obedience in the Same Direction: The Psalms of Ascent" and looks at Psalm 123. In this psalm we see the author crying out for mercy. I wonder if we really understand how desperate we need mercy from God, how generously He gives it, and how much it cost Him to do so.
