God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all. In the beginning, He dispelled darkness in the universe by saying, “Let there be light.” In the end, there will be no more darkness as His glory will give light to all things. This time of year we hang lights on buildings, houses, and trees to commemorate the Light of the World that came to us in human form over 2000 years ago. This light, the true light that gives light to everyone, reveals God’s glory, brings peace, and compels worship. In this sermon, we see how this can be true in our lives and how it should shape our New Year’s resolutions.
