In a sermon called "Lovingly Sovereign" we look at the important relationship between God and the people of Israel throughout the Old Testament. As we consider "famous" people in Scripture, it is easy to overlook the Israelites as a whole, but God's relationship with these people throughout the Old Testament is important for understanding who God is and why we should trust Him. Through this relationship we see that God lovingly and sovereignly deals with his people and that these two important characteristics of God are not at odds with each other.
