Have you ever been really offended by someone? How did you respond? Maybe you argued with that person. Maybe you just walked away. But what if what they said that offended you, was true? What if it was something you needed to hear? In this sermon called "Offended by Truth", we look at John 6:1-71. It is part 10 of the series "Don't Miss This" on the Gospel of John. In it we see Jesus saying some things that the people didn't want to hear. But the context in which he says it and the language that he uses, points us to amazing truth about how God works to give life to those who will believe. I pray that we aren't so offended that we miss this amazing, life-giving truth.
