The cross and the resurrection are the focal points of Christianity. The cross shows us that our King, Jesus, took the punishment for our sins by suffering and dying in our place. The resurrection proves that our King, Jesus, is not just another religious leader but is indeed the Son of God, the promised Messiah, the savior of the world.
