Description

In 1521, a young man named Martin Luther was challenged by the religious authorities to say that what he believed and had written was wrong. Luther responded by saying that if someone would use Scripture to convince him he is wrong he would give in, but he would not accept any other authority. He said, "I consider myself convicted by the testimony of Holy Scripture, which is my basis; my conscience is captive to the Word of God." This sermon, called "Scripture Alone: the Principle that Changed Everything" looks at the first of the 5 key principles of the Protestant Reformation to see why it was such a crucial issue for Luther and why we should still believe this key principle today.

Listening to sermons online can be a great way to keep up with a sermon series if you are unable to attend church but should never be a substitute for regular attendance of a gospel-centered and bible teaching church.
