In this sermon: The Perfect Son of Man (1 Timothy 1:15), we look at the amazing gospel-laced revelation of why God the Son came to earth in the flesh. We will look into the Scriptures to see that Jesus has two complete natures: one fully human and one fully divine. This is known, in theological circles, as the hypostatic union of Christ and teaches that these two natures are united in one person; the God-man. Jesus is not two persons. He is one person. The hypostatic union is the joining (mysterious though it be) of the divine and the human in the one person of Jesus. Why are we to bother with this fancy term? At the end of the day, the term itself it not essential, but the concept behind the term is infinitely precious and worshipfully mind-blowing. Let us exalt His name together as we behold this wondrous mystery.

Listening to sermons online can be a great way to keep up with a sermon series if you are unable to attend church but should never be a substitute for regular attendance of a gospel-centered and bible teaching church.
