"In all this you greatly rejoice, though for now you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials" (1 Peter 1:6). What a statement this is by Peter. Here we have an acknowledgement of suffering, a strong faith, and a great and enduring joy. In this sermon called "The Perspective of Praise – Part 2," we look at 1 Peter 1:6-9 where Peter shows us that real faith will always face times of suffering in this world. The hope given to us by Peter is that this suffering has an end date and a purpose. Through it all, our faith is strengthened as we look to the hope we have in Jesus Christ.
