Description

Try harder...do better...be perfect.  We hear this from the world and we put this pressure on ourselves.  We think that if we can just find that perfect next step or that perfect fix to our problems, then we'll be good.  But there's a problem with this.  What if our idea of perfection is wrong?  What if our way of being perfect is wrong?  What if we can never actually fulfill this standard we think is so important?  The guilt and anxiety that comes from this can be overwhelming.  In a sermon called "The Problem with Perfect", we look at Matthew 19:13-26  where we see Jesus deal gently with little children, yet turns away a rich man.  In these encounters we see that there is a huge problem with our understanding of perfection and our efforts to attain it.

Listening to sermons online can be a great way to keep up with a sermon series if you are unable to attend church but should never be a substitute for regular attendance of a gospel-centered and bible teaching church.
