In this sermon, called "Through Perilous Waters", we look at John 18:12-27. In this passage we see Peter and Jesus respond differently to a very difficult situation. We see our savior continue in his plan to go to the cross in our place, but he does so with integrity and conviction. We see Peter fear for his own protection and use any means necessary to avoid persecution. Not only do we learn about Jesus' character and commitment to our salvation, but we can learn from their example about how to go through perilous waters in our own lives.
