On this episode, Pat discusses how we are already 6 weeks into the new year.. Can you believe it? He dives deep into what 6 weeks means for him and the team.. It allows you to look back at the 2023 goals you've set for yourself to see if you're on track or not. If you aren't making progress, you'll find yourself spiraling and probably put those goals on the back burner.
He also reminds everyone that tough times are okay and majority of the time, people are experiencing the same things. As we go through life, make sure to be honest and yourself because you never know what someone may say.
He wraps up the podcast discussing the leadership development course he's leading at the office. The main topic for the most recent one was the importance of clarity and vision. His takeaways were this: 1. Bring solutions over problems 2. Be a leader down and up the chain of command. 3. Have open communication 5. Take Control.
And finally, he ends it with a quote from the book, Extreme Ownership by Jocko Willink, "Leaders who do not believe in the cause will fail to take the risk necessary to succeed." If you have the vision of what's next, you're willing to take the risk. It also goes hand in hand with life..
