A few weeks ago I was feeling overwhelm and looping in my thoughts so I went for a run and I had the thought: "Sometimes you don't need rest, sometimes you need to move your body and work hard."
There is no shortage of information, distraction and mental overstimulation these days, even just being a mom and the massive amounts of questions or loud noises your children make can all add to feeling overstimulated. These are the times you might just feel like scrolling on your phone or sitting in front of the tv for the night, but I promise you, you will feel a lot better if you move your body.
When you are really in your head, moving the body is the best answer.
