The Universe is always providing you with opportunities to grow and expand, whether you are aware of it or not. And your desires are guiding you towards your most authentic life if you listen.
When you say you want to be a certain quality (confident, brave, loving, integral, etc) then you better be prepared to show up in those ways because the Universe is listening. A lot of times the people who are confident have had a lot of experience feeling insecure. The people who have been let down understand the importance of integrity. Many people who have big hearts are the ones who have experienced a lot of pain.
You become someone with those admirable qualities by experiencing situations where you need to embody them.
