Jim Rippey had the best selling pro model in the world for seven years during my favourite era, the early 90’s. As a top Burton pro he filmed with Standard and Mack Dawg and his parts were highly anticipated. He is a World Champion, a US Open Champion, a three time Vans Triple Crown Champion, an Innsbruck Air & Style Champion and has won countless other titles. He’s the first guy to backflip a snowmobile on film. As his career was winding down, he became a chaplain at the X games. Jim Rippey is one of those pro snowboarders that fell off the map and left everyone wondering where did he wind up!?
