Gwyn Howat is the CEO of Mt Baker. I interviewed her back in 2015 and lost the audio for 6 years! Gwyn's family moved to Mount Baker when her father Duncan took the job of Operations Manager in 1968!! Ever since the Howat's have operated Mt Baker off the grid, creating one of the world's greatest snowboarding mountains. 1985 saw the invention of the Banked Slalom at Mt Baker, Snowboarding's longest running tradition and competition.
