Most Christians want to live full and fruitful lives. What does that mean? Success? Achievement? Recognition? Not really. American culture pressures us to pursue these things at all costs, namely our rest, relationships, and spiritual vitality. We want to reap spiritual fruit, but when we strive, overcommit, people-please, and even earn (from God), we reap the fruit of those seeds instead. In the following four weeks, we will explore the counter-cultural way of rest (in Jesus) to sustain our lives and produce fruit that will last.
