Zechariah 4 v 6

God is at work and all His good deeds, including the construction of the second temple ( replaced solo mins original temple) symbolic of the temple that would be built by Coming of Jesus.

“Then he said to me, “This is what the Lord says to you: It is not by force nor by strength, but by my Spirit, says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies.”

God will build his Church

Not by force - which he could do like a dictator or as King Nebukanezer did    by sending out a decree that the people should worship some foreign god

Or using his might strength - as he is more powerful than anyone or anything and could so easily step in and reform the world just how he pleases

No he chose to build his church the the Holy Spirit who reveals the love of the father to us and leads us into all truth

Joel prophesied

““Then, after doing all those things, I will pour out my Spirit upon all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy. Your old men will dream dreams, and your young men will see visions. In those days I will pour out my Spirit even on servants—men and women alike. And I will cause wonders in the heavens and on the earth— blood and fire and columns of smoke.”

Acts 2 v 42

“All the believers devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, and to fellowship, and to sharing in meals (including the Lord’s Supper ), and to prayer. A deep sense of awe came over them all, and the apostles performed many miraculous signs and wonders. And all the believers met together in one place and shared everything they had. They sold their property and possessions and shared the money with those in need. They worshiped together at the Temple each day, met in homes for the Lord’s Supper, and shared their meals with great joy and generosity — all the while praising God and enjoying the goodwill of all the people. And each day the Lord added to their fellowship those who were being saved.”

This is our example of what a spirit filled community looks like

We want to see spirit filled communities all over the Peak District

PPS story

God the Holy Spirit

For every age -

            • My first memory of an encounter with the Holy Spirit is when I was 8. I knew he was present, I felt his touch, I was overwhelmed by his presence. On the other end Andrew Davies shared a story with us of a man who's first encounter with God the Holy Spirit later in life when he was a pensioner. He was completely overwhelmed by the Spirits presence

For every social standing

            • There is no class system in heaven. Neal has often mentioned
