Cat cafés in the United States focus on adoptions. The cats who live there come from local shelters or rescue groups, and visitors can choose to adopt any of the cats. The cafés free up space at the shelters, help socialize cats and speed adoption placements. Plus, they create a unique space for the community to enjoy.
