In the weeks after Hurricane Ian devastated communities across Florida, our Animal Rescue Team team coordinated the creation of a distribution center for pet food and a pop-up veterinary clinic offering free vet services in a parking lot. Today’s guest, Dr. Katherine Polak, worked at the clinic and describes what it was like to deliver much-needed care to this community.
