In 2016, April was diagnosed with Otosclerosis, a form of hearing loss caused by an abnormal growth of the bone in the middle ear.
It started off mild/moderate, however, it is now moderate/severe and is progressively getting worse. She relies on hearing aids every single day.
April aka @hardtohearit has used her hearing loss journey as a way to spread awareness and connect with other people in the hearing loss community. Her goal is to help as many people struggling with their hearing loss.
