Gossip runs rampant in cosplay – especially online. There are groups. There are cliques at Cons – there’s a ton of high school behavior.
Being authentic is tough – and definitely, we want to show everyone that we’re not about all of that drama, but I know in some cases, there’s a lot going on underneath in this world of Cosplay, but you know what?
Those that keep to themselves and just create – aren’t always looking for collabs, clout, and what’s in it for them – they seem to do the best.
What can we do and do we actually feed on the gossip? Is it part of fandom because it’s what we do with celebrities – we get all the gossip and eat it up?
Anti-gossip is probably also gossip.
