So what is Gatekeeping, and why is it important to work to both understanding and avoiding in Cosplay? Let's discuss the gatekeep issue in Cosplay and then tie it to one of my favorite themes - Ghostbusters. The Gatekeeper and the Keymaster (which we'll get into the in the next episode) are two main points to the plot. Is gatekeeping necessary to the plot of Cosplay?
