Neutrality and staying neutral.
Why are there certain topics I do not cover in my casts? Primarily not because I want to stay neutral, but because there are too may ways in which what needs to be said can be said wrong and is being said better by many other people. Political commentary requires a lot of research.
I also want there to be good rationale to acting out or speaking out.
What I mean by neutral – messaging that Cosplay is for everyone is authentic. It’s not an ‘alternative’ or ‘anti-culture’ it’s about pop culture and fandom. Remaining neutral is also part of looking for good questions, going deep to find answers, and provide solid content that you can find value in.
Trying to remove bias in fandom is nearly impossible. There’s much to say about appreciation versus picking one fandom and saying all others are inferior in some way.
