Posting is free, but circulating can be expensive too - and by that I mean, actually going out in public and being among other Cosplayers, as well as continuing to post on many different social media platforms and create content.
However – we’re a little off topic because circulation is really hard this year with a lot moving to live streaming because most of this year’s Cons were cancelled.
But, it doesn't change how expensive it can get just to show up:
Signing up for Cons and then paying for everything that goes along with it:
Badges, food, travel, your room, and a bunch of things you didn’t plan for...
You can save money by rooming with 20 people and sharing an Uber OR there can be other tricks...
A few of my thoughts on more comfortable ways to save with Conventions (when we get them back)
Try an AirBnB for your next Con – there could be something close by.
Uber is still the most popular option, but there’s also Lyft, which a lot of people do not talk about and sometimes has better deals.
